Founded in 1994 by Bill and Melissa Adams, Panther Creek Nursery was an early adopter of digital presence, being one of the first nurseries to launch a website. Remarkably, they maintained that same website for 20 years. When it came time to modernize, they thoroughly researched their options and chose Clarity Connect to bring their vision to life with a brand-new website.

Launched on February 8, 2024, Panther Creek’s new site has already delivered impressive results. In a year where many nurseries faced challenges, Panther Creek saw an 18% increase in business (as of November 1, 2024). Bill attributes at least 12% of this growth directly to the new website’s impact.

We’ve been working with Clarity Connect for over 20 years. From the moment we launched the Clarity website, I would say in under a year the website completely had paid for itself. 

The website has changed our business in several key ways. We do find that we get better margins online. The biggest benefit for us has been that without having a national sales force that’s allowed us to cover the entire country and have access to people that never would have found us otherwise. Not having a sales force out servicing these clients reduces the travel expense. The cost of customer acquisition is much lower, as the website also is working 24/7 on finding new customers for us.

The biggest issues we had with the web before meeting Clarity was being able to update it with no coding knowledge, programming knowledge. The best part of the Clarity platform is the back office, which allows you with no actual programming skill to completely keep your website up to date and make your own edits.

I would say in the 20 years I’ve worked ADR, the Clarity investment has been the best one we’ve made. It’s paid for itself probably hundreds of times over in the time period–and I wouldn’t imagine working with any other web developer. It’s been a great experience the entire way.
